I’m a 3D game artist with 8 years of experience working in the gaming industry. Originally with a background in architecture in Mexico, I moved to the UK in 2010 to follow my passion for video games. I like incorporating my heritage and travel experiences into my design and I prefer colourful and stylised projects.
Working with the team at Netspeak is a dream come true; Sunshine Days is a colourful, inclusive and fun project to work on. I undertook leadership training and became part of the management team for the last 2 years. My main daily tasks included 3D modelling, texturing and animating characters, working on environments together with hundreds of assets, as well as modifying shaders and creating VFX in Unreal Engine.
I was in charged of making 2d and 3d assets for all sorts of games from mobile, browser, educational and exhibitions.
I was in charge of responding to both outsourcing and in-house projects. Depending on the project I would make 3D models with textures, UI, Gameplay design, concept art, final artwork and illustrations, animations; anything related to the graphics of our projects. Even though it's a small company, we always manage to achieve our goals regardless of time constrains and budgets.
